This workshop will guide you through the key techniques needed to work with cotton rope (also known as sashing cord). You’ll learn the essential steps involved in shaping your bowl, creating split handles, and neatly finishing the ends of the rope for a professional result. As you work through your project, you’ll practise each stage and build confidence using your sewing machine to construct your bowl. By the end of the session, you’ll have a beautiful handmade basket that’s perfect for storage, décor, or gifting.
