Hobonichi Original Book & Cover 2026 – Leather: TS Basic – Black – A6

A classic black cow leather cover with a smooth texture and soft feel. Created in collaboration with graphic designer Taku Sato, who directs the design of the Hobonichi Techo. It features “butterfly stopper” pen holders that also function as a clasp to keep the cover securely closed. This Original cover will comfortably fit A6 notebooks with a spine of 0.5 inches (1.27cm) or smaller. Though it has the capacity to fit spines larger than 0.5in, the cover might have a tighter fit. Please note: This A6 Hobonichi Techo Cover will contain the A6 Original English planner. He began his career at Dentsu, Inc. before establishing the Taku Satoh Design Office in 1984. He has created product designs and branding for Oishii Gyunyu milk, Lotte XYLITOL gum, and many other products. He is currently active across a wide range of projects, including serving as general director for NHK Educational TVs Design-Ah series and art director for Nihongo de Asobo. He also serves as director of the design museum 21_21 DESIGN SIGHT in Tokyo.
