Description This workshop covers what needs to be done in autumn to over-winter your hives and keep them healthy and strong. The winter and early spring months are often the most difficult time of the year for the bees and understanding their needs at this time of year is crucial. We will take a closer look at various illnesses and probable causes, and demonstrate our methods of hive feeding, wrapping, and consolidation for best possible over-wintering success. Please bring a lunch. Light snacks are provided.
